    I finally got it!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry about that. You just have to get used to top hats, plus with the morning coat and db dove grey waistcoat it is alot of work. I could care less what anybody thinks, I just wear what makes me happy, positive, and confident. I can see why you don't. I don't like alot of attention either...

    I finally got it!!!!!!!!!!

Yes Deeelovely, it was quite common in the late teens and 1920's to see top hats with regular suits not just with formal wear such as morning coats, tail coats, and frock coats. The whole top hat height to jacket length mystrey is overplayed. Unless it is a stovepipe hat(over 8 inches)... this...

Hats from beyond the Iron Curtain

20 years ago? Look at Russia now. Putin has his oil and his investors from the west, he can flex his arm and dismantle any attempt for freedom and democracy in the name of national security. Hey but look at the bright side the Economist did show him with a fedora on the cover.

    Herbert Johnson Poet

A tribily usually denotes a brim around 2 1/4 inches. You can always go with a hat whith a shorter crown and a wider brim say 2 1/2-2 3/4 and look perfectly preportionate.
