    Santa Claus Is Over

I hope she doesn't leave droppings under the pillows...

You know you've spent too much time on the Lounge when...

You did remember to explain the door-knocking sequence to the entrance, and the secret handshake right?

    Transmitting your own signal

I plan to get an AMT3000 one of these days. I think I'd really enjoy using it with my mp3 player and Zenith Cobra. From the other's testimonials here, I definitely think it would be a good investment.

    Bogie borsalino

No that, IMHO, the original block looked bad, your new block looks really great! Enjoy!

Does a binding visually decrease the size of the brim?

After repeatedly looking at the two above photos, I don't think I can really tell too much of an optical-illusion difference between bound vs. unbound. I would personally go for the bound brim, especially on the specific hat you have modeled in the photos. Of course, that is simply...

    Santa Claus Is Over

I learned the truth when I was 12. Up until that time, I was actually beginning to question the whole Santa thing. Anyway, that year, I requested for Santa to leave a present under the little Christmas tree that I still decorate in my room every year. I also left the milk and cookies out...

    Two Restorations by Optimo Hats

Holy cow! That Borsalino looks great! I'd be proud to wear those-I'm sure you'll enjoy them for years to come.

    Bailey Gangster Bogart Style

I used to have a "Bogart" model fedora by Biltmore from the VHS. Though it was a steel grey color. Nice hat, though it turned out to be a little big for me. A friend of mine has it now.

    Newbie with an old hat

Amazing hat! And welcome to the Lounge.

    An Amazing Coincidence Today

I definitely agree with that. Every time I see another fedora wandering around town on someone's head, I now wonder if they are among the fellows of the Lounge. I even figure if I ever strike up a conversation with a fellow fedora-er, I'll try to induct them into the Lounge.

The Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard

And when you sign it, be sure to use your real name. Then, when they're out of your presence, and they glance at the paper, they'll think, "Who?" :eusa_doh:

    Archie Goodwin VS James Bond

Archie is down to earth. I think James Bond is so superhuman that he is full of himself. I'd rather hang out with Archie, seeing that I am a regular human, after all.

The Dumbest Comment I Ever Heard

I actually had another goofy comment about two weeks ago. Over the past summer, during the summer break from college, and my investigation apprenticeship was going slow, I worked part time at the tram here in Albuquerque. Anyway, I came in one day to pickup one of my last paychecks, and...

    August Is Twelve Weeks Long

Summer is definitely rough for me at times as well; though I do have to remind myself that New Mexico has dry heat. I was born in Mississippi, and going back to visit Grandparents during my childhood, and other family in Texas has taught me that humidity is evil. Hang in there Atticus...
