That looks like a VERY old and very fine Knox. Wonderful for you that you obtained it and that it fits. It is a shame when the sweatbands deteriorate. I absolutely hate to remove the originals with the branding and in your case embossing. But when they are crumbling, whatcha' gonna' do? Optimo...
As fate would have it, today I scored these at a thrift shop. Very much like cookie's recent purchase but with mesh. They fit me like they were custom-made for my feet. Slightly worn condition, but for $6, I settled. :)
