Hello my friends, I’ve searched everywhere I can think of to no avail, I’m looking for a nice summer Homburg, something in a pale colour, ideally a straw one but a light weight felt would do, size 57 UK that’s the modern stuff or 7 in old money.
Any ideas folks?

I’ve just done a quick refurbishment of this Ronson lighter
It wasn’t working so I stripped it, scrubbed the flint striking wheels that was full of old flint, lightly polished the other parts with a microfiber cloth, fitted a new flint, filled her up and hey presto.

Ever since I saw Poirot carry his Swan cane I’ve wanted one
Now, thanks to a broken antique walking stick, a handle from eBay, 15 minutes of my time and some glue, I have one
It’s not perfect but it’s got that nicely aged look.
I’ve got another handle coming as a friend of mine has...
I’m not “Grousing” but you wait ages for a hat to turn up and two come along together, I’ve been eyeing up a Grouse hat(well that’s what I’ve always known this style as) and I picked up this one on eBay
No maker, just Harris Tweed
Anyway, I was passing a charity shop today and popped in...
Coming from Norfolk, in the Uk there are many terms that I use regularly that confuse “ Furriners “ , that’s Foreigners to you, anyone not from Norfolk,
Bishybarneybee = ladybird
Hod-me-dod/Dod-me-Horney = Snail
The name for a snail has many variations on the same theme but these two are...
Here’s a great little item that turned up in the post the other day,
It’s an ACME Tie press, basically two bits of wood hinged with an ingenious ratchet clasp
I’ve found it best to double up my bow ties, clamp them and leave overnight, it’s doing a great job of taking out the wrinkles...
Thanks I will, I don’t like long neckties, they look very nice on some people but just seem to get in the way for me so I’m much happier wearing a self tied Dickie, there’s something cool about the way they tie a little different every time and always look a little wonky, I’ll post some pictures...
I’ve gone for “The English”
A style not very much in vogue at the moment but I like it, I also like my hair with a centre parting which I think is a style that is due a renaissance [emoji6]
I’m hoping to get the moustache to these lengths

Thanks dude, the weight loss was surprisingly easy, I just stopped eating crap, no more chocolate, cakes and sweets from my bus passengers, they now give me fruit [emoji106] the 4 stone went in 9 months and I’ve now plateaued but I think it’s just starting to go again [emoji848]

Hello folks, I’ve recently acquired my first boater and I’m smitten, I cannot wait for next spring/summer when I can wear it with my striped blazer
It’s a MacQueen of London with the famous Bon Ton Ivy band.
