How Vintage Do You Go? -merged thread-

I definitely like my technology and I truly believe that the only piece of modern technology that owns me is my computer with internet. For me, it seems like internet is my main source of conversing with friends, and I do enjoy my forums. I never had a TV in my bedroom growing up, and even...

    Felt hats in summer..

I got my first linen newsboy about two months ago, a NY Hat Co. one. I have to say I'm rather pleased with it. I like the style, how casual it can be, and how comfortable it is as the heat increases.

    Felt hats in summer..

I've come to the opinion that it is a personal decision. There are plenty of folks around here who will wear a felt hat during the summer, regardless of whether it is featherweight or not. You can also find plenty of people here who don't wear felt during the summer. It's difficult for me...

The Sale of NOS Johnnyphi hats begins.

I agree with the email/heads up idea. I too have one or two of your hats that I'm interested in. Yet, I do plan on being in and out of town over the next 2.5 months. That combined with trying to conserve my budget at the time being may or may not allow for me to bid on one of the hats I'm...

    Monte Cristo anyone?

Sounds like a sad story actually. I hate to think of the concept of such a wonderful food item being destroyed by such a bad experience. If that was a somewhat recent occurrence, maybe the queasy feeling you experience will eventually subside.

    Monte Cristo anyone?

Bennigan's restaurant has a very good Monte Cristo sandwich. They have them here in Albuquerque, and I'm assuming other places as well. It's a very filling meal; you're likely to have leftovers, or at least share it with someone.

The Vintage Silhouettes that inspired the Kimono

I agree, that's a very original design, that ribbon looks very good. I like the shorter brim on this one.

Bubba has a tendency to do that too, but mainly when the doorbell rings! He's pretty skittish around strangers. He's not using the condo anymore; too warm by now.

Then and Now, Senior Portrait and Now Photos

Ok, Ok... I know that 2004 to 2008 is not really a big difference in time, but after glancing over my photos from high school to now, I realize I have changed quite a bit in those four years. I stopped highlighting my hair, grew a goatee, and lost almost forty pounds. 2004 New Years 2008

    Ever seen one of these?

Nice looking unit. Have you played with the cutter feature at all? I've always thought it would be interesting to create my own records; that would probably be an expensive hobby though.
