I partly agree with you Rocketeer that I'd rather put my own spin on my jacket. I had a good chat with Nigel who does a lot of the Timeworn, work. He showed me a bit of what he does and it is pretty convincing in my eyes. He also spent quite a lot of time with me helping me work out fit on...
Went today, have come to the realisation that I actually NEED to get myself an Eastman's G1 and can't see myself buying an A2 elsewhere? The quality of the leather on the G1 made me realise as much as I love my Ralph Edward's G1 that it either needs to be sold or relagated to beater.
Figured out I can make this, wondering how much will be left by Thursday, although with the exception of one thing, I'm purely going for trying on and seeing in the flesh before I start putting some pennies to the side for an A2.
Thanks for the info, looks like as someone whose arguably a 41, but wears the same size in most of the same jackets, I'd be fine with a 40. Last and slightly cheeky question, you couldn't tell me the pit to pit measurement could you?

Not sure whether this really belongs in the Outerwear thread...
The gradual narrowing of lapels and ties was partly due to the rising influence of the Ivy League look- although this in it's self was only a slightly narrower cut at first anyway. It was also very much a fashion statement, moving...

Probably the last time I'll bump this, but also a sheepskin jacket and some sweaters that might be of interest to some on here in my other items for sale?
My Tailor's wife took one look at them and smiled and said "easy"! They've kinda turned down their operations now, but since both have a history of making clothes, they seem to be able to reconstruct most things to fit me.
You wouldn't know it because they're tucked away at the back of a large...
