Cotton Thermal T-shirts

Been trying to find something like the below. There's a great shot blown up in the USAF Museum at IWM Duxford, showing a group of pilots and ground crew messing around with the local kids and a baseball bat that I can't find online. They mostly seem to be wearing Long Sleeve T's rather than Athletic Sweaters. Hoping to find something cheaper than these since they're around £80

If you're near a Sainsbury's, have a hunt through their menswear in the Tu Clothing (own brand) stuff; fairly certain I saw something similar to this recently.

Edward is right, you can buy long sleeve thermal vests from supermarkets and camping stores. When I ran a night operation of a parcel hub, all the doors were open to accommodate the trucks as they reversed up to the warehouse doors making heating the place, pointless. Previously the forklift drivers were wrapped up in heavy coats. I issued them all with thermal long sleeve vests and long johns, plus a thermal hat with ear flaps. So efective was this type of underwear that those forklift drivers were soon removing their coats. You can buy thermals from Tesco.

I've purchased all of them, and for the price they're great quality. Italian made Army issue I think, some are dated mid 80s. Fine wool / cotton mix, natural colour, very warm. The only issue is sizing; they come up small so if in doubt, size up. I'd also suggest contacting the seller first to get some accurate sizes.

I wear these in white color: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191696537919
Quite good for the price. Pay attention to the size. I am a 44" chest 34 waist and prefer it more fitted. So I need L in the normal Proclub long sleeve (non-termal) due to more shrinking. I need to take M in this thermal version as it shrinks less.

Hmm, probably the closest, would prefer natural materials from previous experience. Still hoping to find something nearer to the Buzz/ North Sea, but these are good

^ The one's I showed above are almost identical to what Buzz is selling. They're just off-white. I have 7 off them and have dyed 5. Once dyed, they look almost identical to the Buzz thermal cotton shirt shown above, with the waffle knit. Just my two cents.

The ones I picked up about a year ago are wool / cotton mix. The one I purchased more recently is 50% wool 50% acrylic, but it still feels good. I should imagine as they're army surplus, the material mix changes depending on the original supply date.
