Could be... but not primarily because of the tunnel loops.
Those can be found on Scandinavian and sometimes German trousers, too.
Incidentally the suit was bought by the previous owner in London.
Hard to pinpoint the provenance, for sure.
Splendid. But I strongly doubt the 1919 date.
Judging by the suit, I'd put it to 1927-1930.
Edit:
I was right. It is actually 1929 per source (Dutch national archieve).

3. 1930-40's "Prima Haarhut" (Rockel brand) light grey Homburg. Wonderful condition.
No damage to edge binding or ribbon (the light-colored line on the bow is just basting thread).
There were some theater/racecourse-tickets under the sweatband.
I'd ask for the complete lot 420 USD...
Set of very good condition vintage German fur felt hats.
Size: 57 cm head circumference (US 7 1/8 - UK 7)
1. "Globus Extra" bound-edge snap brim Fedora.
1940-50's. Plenty of character in the crease and brim shape.
Lovely patina on ribbon - excellent condition inside and outside...
Thanks guys.
Here another Sz. 57 "Prima Haarhut" (Rockel) Homburg.
There were two tickets under the sweatband... place numbers for the racecourse or theater?
Ca. 1935 - 1940 grey flannel chalkstripe DB.
The tailoring details are IMO indicative of Northern European (Dutch, Scandinavian or German) provenance.
The typically German bowled buttons are replacements by me.
The original coat buttons were replaced previously by modern grey plastic buttons.

A top-notch quality tailor-made three-piece suit (coat, trousers, waistcoat).
Made by Master tailor Heinz Kempf in Munich.
The style is 1940's... but it was made ca. 1980.
Either the old-fashioned taste of the costumer or an early "vintage reproduction"...
A great opportunity for someone with a small hat size (54-55 cm) to get a complete collection of 1930's German fur-felt hats.
The whole range from sporty Fedora to formal Homburg.
Lot of German late 1930's hats in great condition.
(The black hats are only a bit dusty.)
They are all 54-55 cm...

I personally like the grey + blue the most. But there is nothing to be said against the other colors. ;)
BTW the detachable collar shirts have French cuffs, while those with sewn on collars have buttoned simple cuffs.
Papperskatt, the collar points are 7.5 cm. On the blue shirt a tad longer...
Late 1940's to mid-1950's German bound edge snap brim hat, marked "Globus extra".
Cool logo design and plenty of character in the bash and crease and slight patina on the ribbon.
Size 57.
Here the pics - they will go to HBK. Sorry Volvo... what suit size are you? I might have something else for you (size 40).
The only exterior spots are on and near the belt loop to the right.
It appears to be faint coffee and not rust... it will certainly clean out nicely.
The legs have at the...
Thanks!
All except the blue (bottom left) are 40 cm (15.7 in) collars.
The blue one has a 39 cm (15.3 in) collar with a large gap - good for a wider tie knot.
