Hey Mario; another vest today! :) The weather has finally gotten mild around here so the sweaters are giving way to the vests.
Stetson Eagle Medalist Vita-Felt (whew!):
When I offer this for sale, I think it'll be safe to call it "Mid-Century". This thing is so hoaky and fun I almost wish I hadn't given up drinkin'! :D

Found another old pair of Wright's. I'm not usually too enthused about loafers anymore, but man, the leather quality of these is amazing.
I managed to GooGone off the sticker residue after this photo.
How could I resist when I saw this at the thrift shop!? :D
From an era when that combination label/keeper was some new innovation that needed explanation to the purchaser. lol
Here's a recent batch. The one second from right isn't vintage but has the 'look' in my opinion. The one on far right, I think I showed the other day already.
True, true. You are very correct about that. I'm aware that if everyone shopped like I do we'd have 40% unemployment. It's that fact which is the only slight downer about my thrifting ways - but darn it, I really love the old-time quality. :o
Vintage sweaters are the greatest. The cuffs don't get all stretched out easily. They are cut and assembled to FIT rather than hang like big formless bags as many of today's sweaters do.
I've gotten my share of great deals at thrift stores but the twenty has me beat! Good for you, 'interchange. Schmarity - I'd spend it on goodies, putting it into the engine of commerce. :) :)
My sweetheart, Nicki, used our Nikon D70 to snap this shot. Any good photos of me can be automatically credited to her. The lousy ones are when I hold the camera at arm's length and 'shoot myself'. :p

Thanks folks, for the compliments. This hat does a lot more for me than I...
