Sure looks that way in the photo doesn't it. But the ring tray is there with its little padded rows. Left and right are just shallow compartments. The velvet absorbs the light so much that it all goes flat in the photo.
I dunno' avedwards; that might just be best kept as a family memento or sold/passed along to someone who can fill it out. Not me, though - I'm built about the same as you. :)

It's a midnight blue Borsalino Trionfo. Probably early '40s. Their take on the Playboy, it seems (or vice versa [huh] ). Super light weight felt, yet still dense and crisp. Brim's about 2-1/2 with a raw edge. My favorite style. :)
