Not Open Crown- But New Stetson
Number Forty-Seven folder ordered today, looks like they are moving fast (according to the Amazon reckoning of the inventory) & I didn't wanna miss the boat. It looks very functional if it performs as advertised. Kinda steep dollah' for a shantung, but I dunno...
I'm no expert, but FL, that is as sweet as Jewish wine, man-oh-man oh Manischewitz!!!
I would have found that well-neigh irresistible. What a great look!
Now, hol' up, now, REAL grits are whole germ, stoneground, speckled (w/ the germ) and yeller. Don't accept that sorry, runny white wallpaper paste they pawn off as "grits" at Waffle House or Cracker Barrel.
Think "Hillbilly polenta".
...have to get you a "toter's license" too, so you can...
That was my thought too.
I hope so, I nipped the photos from the auction & ran them thru Photoshop color balance, auto tone, contrast correct & co. & they came out much less warm. Your algorithms may differ. [huh]
Stephen Stetson Open Road Clone
Stephen L Stetson Hats- Mediocre hats with a great backstory.
Nice & minty though. I am hoping for no more than a 3" brim.
Looks like a great trip, Ole!
You ARE one crazy Sod, though. Denmark to Nashville....who'da thunk it?
Give a hollar & come on over to the real Tennessee, Knoxville, The Great Smokies & Co. -a place unlike any other.
Drive over the Gap to the Cherokee Rez. in North Carolina, a remnant band who...
That is one special Optimo! How lovely! I'd love to see the OR too.
I hope you enjoyed Tennessee. Did'ja get over the plateau to visit the Smokies? Some beautiful country.
We are just entering Spring, which means snow is in the forecast.
It is a most beautiful time here, as long as you don't...
40/50 Yr. Old Borsalino folder- on the scale--->Super Flyweight Class
The lab's scale has it coming in at a whopping 51 grams! :D I've been looking for this one for at least seven years! CHUFFED!
Cappellificio Guerra 1855
Can't find it in new catalogs, maybe it's a few years old? Wretched photos from the auction, the seller said it is "blue". We'll see I guess.
Groan!
That is a sharp & cutting remark! :kev:
For those not of the Tribes; A bris is something like the stock market: the little guy gets cut and the big guys stand around and laugh. ;)
While foraging about for something else entirely I came across this & thought it might be of interest.
Would you use it? Could you use the scissors on other brims? What's the advantage to the curve? Why didn't I think of this?
Reactions? Great idea? Or Borsalino "jumps the shark"?
