Early post-war (1945-1949) German Police uniforms.
The first is a Third Reich police tunic altered post-war (brown collar, eagle, shoulderboards, green piping removed) to
an open collar style. Tiny size (hunger years) for an Sub-Officer of the motorized traffic police of Schleswig.

Rare German 1940-50's dark navy Curdoroy sport-jacket.
Red plaid cotton liner. Outstanding condition. A very comfortable leisure jacket.
Zippers by OPTI and HECO. Elasticated back, half-belt on front. Faux back pleats.
Size is a US 44-46 and thus too large for me.

A French 30's tuxedo with crazy fancy details!
Silk-trimmings on collar and cuffs! Silk-facings on the waistcoat!
Navy-type trouser front! Flapped pockets (can be tucked in)!
This is the most fancy tuxedo I have ever seen.
German 1930's Anorak by "Sport Schuster - Munich" in unworn condition.
A holy grail of sorts and size 52 (US 42), too!
Zippers with DRP (German Reich Patent) - Zipp markings.
Brown corozo buttons.
Brass casings for the drawstring.
Crotch-strap for intense weather.
Ingenious buckles for...

I have 1940 tailoring instructions on how to make short coats out of long ulsters.

My new favorite suit (and go-to suit for office/town) is this conservative British 1950's beauty.
It has all the hallmarks of late-30's and 40's tailoring (wide straight legs, nipped waist and broad shoulders).
Unusually for British tailoring it has the bunny-ear suspender straps, typically...
