What Was The Last Movie You Watched?

Warbirds (2008) Not a very good film, has all the feel of a 70s made for TV movie!

What was the last TV show you watched?

Sun Records. Funny to see cousins Jerry Lee Lewis and James Baker, before they were infamous! Not sure why, but they portrayed Blue Moon Of Kentucky as Elvis's only song on his first record? It was the B side, That's All Right, (omitting Mama on the label) was the A side. I will say, Blue Moon...

So trivial, yet it really ticks you off.

I get to hear Reveille, retreat and taps every day thanks to the new and improved PA system at our local Air Force base. They are at least 5 miles away. First time I heard reveille, I started to get out of bed, then I realized, hay, I don't have to if I don't want to!

    Famous People in Flight Jackets

That was the Rockwell Shrike Commander. I loved this footage of him poring tea while doing a roll. Yes, I know the physics behind it, but still love it! I was fortunate enough to see him many times and even eat dinner with him, a real class act!

It seems like a look in her little black book would reveal the decade. If not the phone number type, CALUMET-555! I bet it was the 60s, and she found it in thrift shop, bought it because it was groovy man!

You know you are getting old when:

I remember when my buddy's and I went to see 2001 A Space Odyssey in 1969, it seemed like a million years in the future not a mere 32! Just dawned on me, next year is the 50th anniversary of 2001. Remember when a 50th anniversary celebration was for an event that happened before you were born?

    Old gas stations

Reminds me of when I would fill up my mini bike! The attendant would always say, with a smile, "check your oil and wash your windows sir?" :)
