Lord Man, I never applaud canned soup, I will however stand to my feet and clap for a nice home made soup. I think there may be an accidental analogy in that? Do hats really need a liner?
I have a couple of hats without liners and have never had any problem with sweat marks on them. A goodly % of Akubras are sans liner when purchased (cattleman and snowy river, their biggest sellers). So liner removal is hardly problematic. On a side note, one of my lids (probably 1960s)...- ADHD librarian

Are you after a fedora style hat? because Akubra do make other hats in your size (for example the cattleman goes up to size 65). In a fedora or similar dress style... Were fedoras worn during WW1?
well, this fedora wearer is more well known for his role in WWII, but he was a soldier in the War to End all Wars too. No Idea when these photos were taken but probably during or just before the second. I wonder if he picked it up off the streets at a book burning, where...- ADHD librarian
