It's a great straw nonetheless! Keep in mind that even the most basic hand woven straw takes an expert 2 - 3 days to make. That doesn't include prep work to get the straw ready, or finishing work on the brim, crease, sweat and ribbon...
So, @Redfokker / Mike and I met up for lunch today. A little Mexican food, enchiladas en salsa verde, a lot of hat talk and a very enjoyable time. Mike is a great guy and into hats like all good men should be. We could have talked for hours and hours. As it was, lunch lasted about ~2 hours...
This is an archive pic from a few days ago, but this is what I plan to wear today. We're looking at 81F, which is not too bad, but 94 is on tap for Sunday. Ugh...

I love your collection of fine fedoras and this Adam is a...

Lil' Fed and I got some lunch and then headed to the range. Her request. We took a 9mm Glock and a 41 mag Freedom Arms model 97 revolver. She was punching bullseyes by the time we left.
Getting warm here, but we were in the shade for the most part. I wore the Wormser Milan and Lil' Fed wore...
