Classy Executive, Eric! Michael has knocked another home run right out of the park! It took awhile, but I have also warmed up to the shark's gill ribbon treatment. Understated elegance personified!
That felt sure looks fantastic, Jim! Yowza!
You look set for adventure, hermano, but watch out for that guy behind you... he looks like he's making plans for a little sequestro express!
If that beauty doesn't quite fit, you know it can have a wonderful home in Oregon! You know my address.... if only....
Seriously, what an incredible Mayser!
Have you counted the weaves per square inch in that one, Bob? I picked up some hat bodies in Cuenca that were listed as grade 12, meaning about 576 wpsi, but in reality they are closer to a grade 10 or 11 at 400 - 484 wpsi.
Although I love the looks of a great semi-calado straw from Ecuador, I've never had one until now. The great ones I've seen here, owned by @seabass , @DJH , and @mikespens are dream hats for me. Unfortunately, my trip to Ecuador didn't shake any great hats or bodies loose for me to buy...
As much as I love a nice paja toquilla from Ecuador, I really need a parabuntal. That's a sweet example, Moe!
You did really well with that one, Jack! I really like it.
I love the shark's gill ribbon/bow treatment, Bob!
Have a great trip, man! That Hommie would work super on your trip...
I look for excuses to wear those shoes! I usually order a 10.5 EE, but they only had E and EEE sizes so I got the E. They may work in a bit and be fine. You never know, but maybe I should have gone for the EEE.... but hey, I bought them to wear to church and social functions, not backpacking!
