The Hat Centre, London
From The Hat Centre in London.
A total crapshoot, maybe made by Christie's. I have also heard "Poland" & another possible European origin, perhaps Huckel.
Described as having a "deep" crown (no measurement given) & a 75 mm brim, so just under 3". Take off the 20% VAT...
Collarless, groovy leather details, I've seen nothing quite like it!
I just dropped a c-note on one of the old, sized, single piece back, LL Bean A-2s, as cheap as this is...I cannot sleep on the couch 'til next year! :nono:
Somebody needs to snap this up!
PIp, pip & suchlike. Thanks gents. I am chuffed (as I imagine one says when beneath an English hat).
I have seen some fine Bates, very nice hats.
And leave us not forget Mr. Binks
word!.... >ahem<.... I mean "quite so!"
I dunno when the "junque" or "shabby chic" crowd stumbled upon vintage felt, but this is laughable. And if I see one more "repurposed" or +Upcycled" POS whimsical creation made from a perfectly good, sixty year old piece of felt, I'se g'wine :censored:!!!
...ain't wearing it today
...but I was wearing this Stetson Sovereign Twenty Open Road last Friday night at The Keb' Mo' show & he was kind enough to sign it for me. :D
Great show, great souvenir !
Anyone familiar with this product?
From Japan, a full size nose art iron on, made for leather. He has great feedback on these.
I was going to try one on the back of my G&B Indiana Jones Jacket. Or do you thing I should get an A-2? [huh]
THANKS!
All seriousness aside tho', if you want real news the BBC, the CBC & in print The Independent UK & The Christian Science Monitor are still somewhat to be relied upon, imo.
