Looking to trade to my original Gordon & Ferguson M422a size 40 for an Aero Leather jacket. I prefer a halfbelt style jacket in a size 42 with a back length of around 26". Let me know what you have to trade.

I found an old ad in the "Elburger Courant" from 1962. It turns out that Urzo was a small company making bicycle bags and leather motorcycle jackets. The were (and still are) based in Meppel.
Well I'm 6'5" and I wouldn't buy a jacket that is longer than 27". I had an Eastman A2 in a size 42 XL and I sold that one because I felt it was way too long for an A2. For some reason a back length of 27" works very well on a M422a or G1.
Thanks for all the input! I'm in touch with Byson and they seem the right party to do the work. All I need to find now are the correct Conmar zippers...
Hi guys,
I just bought me two Navy G1 flight jackets from the '50's. Both need to be restored. The California Sportswear only needs a new zipper while the other one (Monarch) needs new cuffs, waistband, zipper and mouton collar. Most of the parts I can get from Mash in Japan. All I'm looking...
Thanks for the input guys. I need a, I think what you call, size 5 Conmar and about 23" long. See additional pictures. This zipper was used in almost all 55J14 and AER G1 jackets.
I recently bought a 1950's G1 flight jacket made by California Sportswear but the zipper is broken and missing its puller. Does anyone have a spare (blackened or alloy) Conmar zipper for sale?
Thanks, Richard
I have one of their BSA sweaters and if the quality of their jackets is as good as their sweaters I would say go for it. The sweater is really well made and damn heavy for a sweater..
I love my AVI Bronco. The only thing worth upgrading in my opinion is the zipper. If they would use a Japanese made alloy Talon, the jacket would be perfect. Can't wait for their upgraded G1.
