Vintage Resistol 3X Western Hat
Vintage Resistol western hat (1950s?) – tan 3X beaver. No size tag, but based on measurements it is between a 7-1/8 and 7-1/4. Brim is 3” and crown is about 5” unbashed. No stains or mothing. Leather sweatband is a little dry (I am going to put some Lexol on it tonight). A good solid...- TPD166

It is a very soft felt. I tried a few dry bashes, including a teardrop, but just left it in the cattleman crease it came with. I think it would reshape easily with steam. I wear between a 7-3/8 and a 7-1/2 and it fits me - but it's not a loose fit. I kept a hat-jack in it. The sweat appears...- TPD166

Nice hats today everyone! No recent pics since everyday is the same hat for me as long as the Army keeps me on this extended field trip! But I did get to wear my panama optimo on a recent visit home to Texas! -

My two CDs are taupe fawn and BG - love them both. I am now considering a Heritage grade CD - I am leaning toward Moonstone since I have several other TARs in tan shades. Any thoughts on Moonstone vs. SB in this grade? -
