Most crimes are not committed by schizophrenics and most schizophrenics don't commit crimes. The main "crime" that these people are committing is making others feel uncomfortable. I can think of a lot worse things than that.
Incidentally, many of use here are probably regarded as pretty weird...
ebay prices in general seem to be falling again after a 6 month high. Everyone's spending their dosh on the family hols. Now's the time to pick up those bargains!
yes, I've heard this too. Sweeting says it about both the 56th and 479th Fighter groups.
I had one many years ago with a red lining...probably rayon rather than silk. I have also had one with a black lining that I'm sure was silk. That was a sweet jacket I should never have sold, a very dark...
Wel, I found your new thread!
I shall have to think before answering this. In fact I might opt out as its late. The fact is that the world I knew as a child and a young man has been so thoroughly trashed that I hardly recognize much of it. And it is still going on. I understand that...
Hmmnn...thinking. I've had hundreds of original A2s through my hands. At the moment these are the only mods I can think of, there may be others I've forgotten...
the addition of a fur collar (in fact the first one I ever owned at 17 years old had this)
the addition of inner pockets ( I...
its not actually hard to find the pubs used by 8th Air force crews - IF they are still open (pubs in England are currently shutting down at the rate of one a day). In rural east Anglia there are very few modern pubs, and any pub near an old airfield will almost certainly have been used by the...

Anyway, you need some fino-fino chain mail to go with it.
definitely on topic
I recently picked up three pairs of mint, in packet, 1940s fully fashioned stockings in a charity (thrift) shop for....50p a pair!! They were CC41 (1941 utility scheme) marked and best of all SILK - not nylon. Back in WW2 real silk stockings were the rarest of the rare, the...
dry used tea leaves in the sun and then re-use them.
I knew an old lady who still did it in the 1970s but with the "modern" tea bag. Used to hang 'em out on the line to dry.
Love the musicals, but don't forget those early gangster films like Scarface and Public Enemy. They defined the genre and are still as powerful as ever. Sometimes I think the pre-Hays era was the real Golden era of Hollywood.
Withnail! Great film! The most accurate representation of the 60s I've seen.
But I digress. In Britain "Ponce" can mean effeminate but it's got subtler nuances....it's more someone who is full of themselves, narcissistic (a bit like some of us here perhaps..but lets not follow that chain of...
