Akubra Overload
My new BGCD, got it yesterday but Photobucket was kaput yesterday all day! Love the hat, this is my first open crown hat and I just gave it this quick bash so I could wear it ASAP! It fits really "bigly," as The Donald might say. Love the color! -

Hats Plus in Chicago: trip report
Thanks for the review! You know, now that you mention it I have the same experience with Stetson...they are BIG! I'm the same hat size as you, and the last Stetson I tried on was a 7 1/4 that fit too big on me, and I've had similar experiences before with Stetson. -

Would you say, as a general rule, that a guy with a rounder head shape (like me) will look better with a less-tapered crown? <<< For example, my profile pic is me wearing my Bogart...which I'm starting to think has way too much taper for my fat head! -
