It's the same jacket. I bought directly from John. He put the name strip on also. You're right in measurement. I measured seam to seam under the arm pits and across chest. It came out to 24.5

Ok, to my knowledge, Capeskin is a type of Sheepskin leather derived from a specific breed of sheep in South Africa, I guess around the Cape of Good Hope hence the name Capeskin. It's used in A-1s and jackets that traditionally have trimmer fits
