High-priced felt
Did anyone catch the Whippet that sold on eBay for over $600.00?? Now that's just a bit much for a $10.00 lid. Wonder what that's going to do the "market" for fedoras? Guy that sold it didn't seem to be an expert in the business, just got lucky. We should all have that kind of luck. -

Hello gentlemen- I just listed a terrific Art Fawcett Fedora in a deep "Forest" green felt on eBay; deep crown has 4 1/2" ht. as photo'd, closer to 5 1/2 open. Brim is 2 1/2", ribbon is 1"; Hat is in pristine condition, no issues whatsoever; fits my 7 3/8 noggin, close to being a Long Oval...- ideaguy

How to remove a glued on hat band?
MEK will lift tar off the road...be VERY CAREFUL if using it- eye protection, heavy duty gloves, respirator, the works-it'll take just about any glue off, but you run the risk of taking some color off of the felt, so prepare to use a larger ribbon. Don't use a hair dryer to "soften"the glue if... -
