Daniele, that "Mohairette" is very unique. What a great mix of colors. Makes me want to give wool hats more respect. Mayser has also shown some great vintage wools.

    Campdraft vs Bushman

Akubra's have a reputation for shrinking a little, especially the Imperial grade. So, yes, most likely you'd be happier with the larger size. I wouldn't go bigger than the 7 3/8 though, they don't shrink that much

There is some nice hats recently! Today I'm a happy camper as I got my second vintage Playboy, this one in a light grey; it needed a little steam, brushing and a little ironing out the wavy brim on the flange This one is a later model, somewhere in the 50's I'd guess Leaf logos instead of...

Cat, You should like whatever you like. From a collector standpoint, big brims and tall crowns are where it's at. And folks like me who want the big brims to shield from the elements

    What's your signature hat?

Seriously, I feel that way about cars. Love them, love the big car show in NYC, go every year. Go with my father to antique car shows and swap meets. Had the same Jeep for 15 years. Little interest in getting a new car
