    Heavy duty TALON zippers, lining is missing, no tag other than the size 46 as seen in the photo. Picked it up for 7 bucks because there was nothing else worth mentioning at the swap meet this morning.

    Removing Paint Stains from G-1 Jacket

    Usually a mixture of Burnt Umber and Black will match a G-1 so any quality acrylic paint would suffice. If there's no body to the paint just paint over, if it's a bump, flake it off. Looks so small that whatever you do isn't really a big deal.

    Very possible the import mark theory is a story I picked up some time back and never let go or confirmed. Here's the marking on one that would have been a 2000- knife if in better shape.

    Think he's the one that put a restriction on everything, guns as well. Not sure though. Someone made it mandatory that an import mark be on weapons otherwise these blades would not have it. Had an M1 Carbine that was Cuban marked and re-finished in blued steel after the parkarizing was removed.
