Juicy details: 2 1/2 brim, crown front 4 3/4, middle 5 3/4 (!), back 5 even. Ribbon is 2 1/8 from the Garrett collection, check out the wind trolley button, matches the ribbon pattern, Bob is slick! This hat weighs 2.25 oz finished, can't even feel it on my head but do notice the brim fluttering...

I believe it serves 2 purposes, allow a bit of air flow and also a bit flexibility with fit. My opinion with no factual support.
Never worn, just tried on. Washed and dried once. Straight fit listed as size 36X38, actually measure 35X37, cuff is 8 3/4", rise is about 11". Japanese indigo ordered a couple yrs back. Fit is too slim for me, my loss is your gain. $65 shipped/fees included N. America only please.
Another pineapple shirt, I'm always looking for the perfect one, not sure it exists for my peculiar mind. Another Avanti, the seller listed it as silk but didn't mention it was crepe so a nice surprise for me. The crepe weave has the magic property of feeling cool and even damp all the time...
