Here are two Akubras hard at work. The bass man is the Lounge's own Dundee, sporting a Campdraft in Taupe Fawn, and I am playing the guitar and wearing a Federation IV in dark brown. -

Regarding your sizing questions, the Lightning Ridge and Kokoda seem to be a "big" 61, the Kiandra is a somewhat tight 61, and the Angler and the Coolabah seem dead on.- Picker

fur felt in hot weather?
Maybe I've just never had a good straw hat. They seem scratchy, and the poly ones and poly-coated ones seem heavy. I'm in Georgia, and I can wear a vented, unlined felt hat outside. i can't work in it such as yard work, but I can walk around in it. For working, I wear a well-used Tilley... -

FS: Tilley T5 Hemp Brown and Natural
Bought last spring and both have been washed twice each per Tilley instructions. Both in size 7 5/8. No defects, I have just been wearing a cotton duct T5 Tilley since 2004 for summer weather and prefer it. Photos on request. $40 dollars each plus $5 shipping, or $80 for both, shipping...- Picker
