    A long time coming

Tried to take some selfies while I was out wearing the Wayfarer earlier today. It's starting to get less stiff and developing character. I really love how it looks on me.

    Aero Sheene vs Cafe Racer

I think the August collar is nicer looking, between the two, personally.

    Aero Sheene vs Cafe Racer

It's a Highwayman collar, but I think they will do an August collar if asked.

    Thedi Verde Deerskin

I think it looks a lot like the olive color Freewheelers uses.

Anyone tried Aero beeswax or similar?

I don't think there's any silicone in SNO SEAL, but maybe you're thinking of a different product. The stuff I'm familiar with doesn't have any chemical odor, just a nice beeswaxy odor. This is the stuff I'm talking about: http://www.atsko.com/sno-seal-wax-8-oz-jar/

Anyone tried Aero beeswax or similar?

I treat my leather boots with a product called SNO SEAL, which is made from beeswax. It might be 100% beeswax for all I know. It is great. It protects and waterproofs the leather, and helps preserve the leather. It requires a hair dryer to make it heat up enough to soak into and penetrate...

    Ebay Jacket Identification and Repair

No idea, but it looks like a 1940s vintage jacket. I've seen similar details on Sears/Hercules jackets, but nothing quite like what you've got here. It's distinctive and looks like it's in very nice shape for its age. If the leather is in good shape, you've got a keeper.

ELMC (Eastman Leather) Windward-Black Horshide Size 42-Like New

I don't know how you can fit that 42 so well when my 44 is so tight on me, and we have basically the same measurements. I have to say it looks fantastic on you though, and your price is plenty fair. Someone should snap this up.

Buco J-31 copy by United Arrows

Thanks. It does look good on me, only a little tighter than I was hoping, so I'm moving it on. Should work well for a size 38-40R.

ELMC Californian vs. Aero Half Belt-Pros and Cons?

I just picked up a Premiere range 1930s Half-Belt in black Vicenza about a month ago. It was my first experience with Vicenza leather. As many have said here, it's a lighter weight, less stiff, drapes better without need for breaking in. It's a nice lighter weight jacket for then I'm looking...

Bought a Used Custom 13.5 pounds Motorcycle Jakcet

I like heavy leather but I doubt I could wear something quite that heavy. I think about 9-10lbs is about my limit, and 6-7 lbs is about ideal for most things. For a motorcycle jacket, you have to balance out mobility and comfort, and it's very possible to be well protected with something...

New Condition Steerhide Brown Aero Highwayman - 40

This is a really nice HWM, and the measurements are just right for me. If I didn't already have a brown one, I'd be thinking about it.
