    Shuron Glasses

I think the lens shape you're referring to is the P3, I believe these were used by the armed forces during WWll, the lens shape offered excellent optics and when mounted in the normal rimmed frames were very durable. My guess is this is a P3 type lens, drilled to mount separate nose & bow...

    Shuron Glasses

While they could be a Shuron of old, they might also be a Artcraft item, they look a lot like the Art-Bilt 100. Both companies offered a Military based "P3" lens shape. You can buy them several ways including cables. That said, they appear to be rimless, perhaps a custom build up using P3 lens...

Since it appears to be a wool fabric, do you detect any chemical/dry cleaning fluid smell? Is the game pocket vinyl lined? Thanks.

Comment by 'Retromoto' in article 'The Book is Better: Crime Novels of the 1930s.'

I stumbled across some crime books w/ a twist at a now defunct used book shop. Since then, I've tracked down several of the author's other pieces. The author is John Jay Chichester, his "Rogue" books are fantastic and his other titles are excellent reading also. All written back in the 1920's-30'a.

I e-mailed a request to SM Wholesale for further fit information on one of their N1 Deck coats. I've been waiting for a reply for a few weeks although without results. Are they still in business? I know things are different w/ the Covid although surprised with the lack of reply. Are their coats...
