    Opions Aero's latest offering

I had a suede "jeans" jacket when in my teens. As I remember, the collar became quite stained and had a bit of a shine to it. The rest of the jacket had all manner of stains and patina. And I, punk kid that I was, couldn't have cared less. Sure wish that jacket was around now......

Zipper solution for half belt and long jacket owners

I believe the Model B that Thurston Brothers/Insurrection sells with the two-way zipper, is the Model B "Deluxe," and also the Model B "House Deluxe," which I have. The two-way is great to have on both these jackets, although I would prefer they offer them with brass instead of the nickel.

    Hides, Rain, and Shrinkage

I've heard of naked cowhide shrinking after a good soaking but have not experienced this. My Schott Easy Rider jacket has been caught out in the rain a couple of times with no ill effects. When I got home it was hung on one of those giant, five-inch wide hangers from Aerostitch, and allowed to...

That jacket would go well with my one-owner 1970's CanAm motorcycle. Too bad it isn't a medium.

Aero Board Racer in Seal Goatskin with Green OD Stitching and Liner

As for me, I like a lancer style zipper. It's one of the things that sets your Cascade apart from most other café racers.

Aero Board Racer in Seal Goatskin with Green OD Stitching and Liner

Alas......I don't believe I'll be ending up with a cast-off Board Track Racer....... I agree with Superfluous, this jacket looks better than the other one, and the other one ain't no slouch! What are you going to do next week to top these? :D

Anybody own a Schott Black Stallion? Thoughts on it?

I've said it before: you already have the "Brando" hat. You need the jacket!!! You can pull it off. Winklepickers might be a whole other issue.........:)

Do you ever try to guide how creases should form on your jacket?

I just wear them and let the creases form where they will.

New Langlitz Cascade in Black Goatskin w/ Brown Stitching

Brother, do I ever hope the Board Racer is just too darned tight for you, as you don't seem to quibble about moving a jacket on, and too-tight for you should fit me about spot on. Ummm, errr, I mean....Sir, I look forward to reading your favorable review of the new Aero you receive, and I pray...

Anybody own a Schott Black Stallion? Thoughts on it?

My chest measures just over 39 inches. My size 42 jacket was purchased with intent to layer under it, although it really doesn't look bad by itself.

Anybody own a Schott Black Stallion? Thoughts on it?

I have one in brown, size 42. I do better in a 40 but this jacket seems to fit me just fine in it's "Plumbline" fit, with a bit of room for layering. The horsehide is the slightly "plasticey" finnish and has flaked off of the collar edges a very little bit....gives it that "broken-in old friend"...
