Aero's natural CXL front quarter horsehide is the thickest CXL at the moment. I have a Hooch Hauler in that leather, it needs work to make it comfortable, it will fit a lot better when its broken in. The natural CXL is absolute beautiful leather and worth the extra effort of breaking it in.
With my highwayman I had a simular problem with the cotton drill, it it was completely worn at the waist edge (2 years old). I got in touch with Aero about the problem and the put in a corduroy strip, its good now. (last pictute is now 5years after repair )
I am 184 cm 84 kg and chest 104 cm
My HWM is a size 40 and its not a tight fit, a thick sweater is no problem. The HWM is a boxy fit, If I wanted a thighter fit a 38 would be possible.
Natural CXL Hooch Hauler, it is indeed very different from my HighwayMan.
Yhe high armpits work very well and the shouders have enough room. They tricky thing with this jacket is the waist.
It is tight, be aware of that, its better to size up, or make sure to contact Aero about it.
I am 6ft (184, 82kg) and own a hywayman size 40, I taperd the hips down to a size 38 that words well for me.
A size 38 would be possible but I am happy with a bot of room in the jacket.

Aero Hooch Hauler natural HH came in 2 weeks ago, a lovely jacket but still needs to break in. The natural leather CXL is very thick, more so than my other CXL HH jackets.
No problem, I like to work with the thick leather and get it into shape.
I've got a Highwayman with zipped sleeves, but the zip doesn't go to the end of the sleeve because of the construction of the zipper. I had a discussion about it with Aero because I expexted them to close the sleeve properly. ( now I do have a problem getting motorbike gloves over the sleeve)

My Aero black HH Hercules is my favourite all-weather bulletproof jacket for the wintertime.
I got it in 2015 and the leather is now very easy to wear, second is my 2014 Highwayman.
