You're a super nice guy Randy. Just honestly gift him the jacket, tell the guy it looks great on him and that you want him to have it an enjoy it. There can hardly be a better gift in the jacket-dom. This jacket is by far my favorite. And your friend is lucky to have you as a friend.
You can shape the collar quite easily by wetting the leather (not soaking it, but rather wetting it with a rag soaked in water) and then using the butterfly paper clip to hold the crease in the desired place as the leather dries as sshack suggested.

Is anyone else annoyed when ppl post thumbnail pictures in posts? They are too small when viewed as thumbnails and too big when clicked on. I think they suck. What does the Lounge think? Am I off base here?
