You've possibly already posted this picture in this thread?
(Ed.: Just found, p. 5.)
But it's the first that came to mind when I started reading-- a fantastic look:

Thanks for your response! I have the same hat in Silver Belly, so know what you mean about the felt. I, too, like to wear the brim up, but it's not (yet) as straight as yours.
I do like the hat, and for the most part enjoy its lighter weight-- but would possibly like it even more if it were of...
"Uncle Jake fell off his horse!"
;)
Never thought to look at the hats, again. Thx!
Outlaw Josey Wales:
(Lone Watie's/Chief Dan George's hat leaves a lasting impression on me-- one of the few things I remember about the movie between watchings!)

Thanks for your more complete explanation. While I do technically "mist" my hat, the actual effect is more what you described-- a goodly amount of pooled, pourable water.
My main distinction (for now) being, I've set two Homburgs and re-creased a Hampton using far less water/steam than this...
Thanks!
And, thanks to @bluesforchallah whose CD profiles inspire(d) me, and who offered me early encouragement when I asked him about his hats via PM.
Profile:
As far as "already there"? Almost.
Different elements still want to pop back, regardless of distilled water mistings, light...
This hat wants to be the boss of me... I ain't gonna let that happen.
Crease is getting there:
Might just plain step on the thing for a while, next.
