    $105 is a heck of a good price, 20% or so of new. If it's in good shape you got a great deal. Post pics when you get it, along with your impressions. It's been about 6 years on since I ordered my custom jacket from Hillside, and it's crazy to think that much time has passed already.

    Yes, I asked for heavier weight leather than they used in the standard fit jacket they sent me to get the sizing right. I forget, but I think I specced 1.8mm or 2.0mm. I think I got what I asked for.

    I just sold one just like this one, but size 44, with chrome hardware. They're great jackets. Mine weighed 6.75 lbs. The cut and pattern are just like Lesco, and the quality is if anything better. The sold new for around $700 before Branded closed shop. Great deal.

    Thedi run pretty tight. My shawl collar is an XL, and I normally wear a 42. It's snug. If I'm not mistaken, ksozay, we're close to the same size, so you might want to double check your size.

    Shearling rancher style coat. Made by various makers. Very masculine, often worn by the Marlboro Man. Handy in Montana and North Dakota. If yours has tags that should help identify it.

    They used to use heavier, up to at least 4oz+, but I think they announced maybe about a year ago that they were dropping that due to the difficulty of working with such heavy material. I think they are maxing out at 3.5oz now. But I could be wrong.

    I can tell you they definitely use a range of leather weights, from 2.5-4.0+ oz.

    Yes. CXL is a process for tanning, and has nothing to do with the weight of the leather used to produce it. They produce CXL in a variety of weights. As well, even within a given weight, there's natural variation in the thickness.

    Omg omg omg dude Please don't ruin it by cutting off the belt. If you don't like it, send it to me. My old TRD had a full, detached belt. But this one looks awesome. Where'd you find it?

    What can I say that hasn't been said already. This worked out well. Looks like something a superhero might wear, yet isn't ridiculous in the real world. Definitely bold and requires confidence to wear, and designed to stand out and make a statement.
