In the third ad down, the Stetson Aviator. Was that the Stratoliner's predecessor? It's interesting seeing the evolution of some of the well known hats over time, like the Flagship and Stetsonian, as well as hats that have been completely unknown to me. -

Hopkins Fedora 7 3/8 For Sale
Here's another from my friend's antique shop. Beautiful Hopkins Whippet style fedora. In very good shape, size 7 3/8 however it fit my head pretty well and I'm 7 1/4. Hat sizing strips...
I've used weather stripping. The waviness depends on the sweatband, at least in my experience. Some have really uncomfortable puckers and others conform to the head a little nicer. But yeah. I've used weather stripping, and it works quite well.
