Straw Types
Perhaps @Daniele Tanto can clarify, but according to Google translate "paglia" is the word for straw as opposed to a type of straw like 'wheat straw.' Paper 'straws' are not uncommon. The most common form is "Shangtung," which is a plastic or shellac coated paper straw. -

Checking in, hope everyone is safe and well. The Bay Area is - knock on wood - beginning to see the fruits of our social distancing and stay at home policies. Meanwhile, plenty of time of to hand sew some face masks for essential outings. Stepped out in my Optimo Dillinger today. -
Stetson Range vs Open Road info/photo request
The modern Stetson westerns are not the most common around here. Just going off the specs, the Range is taller and wider, with a modern cowboy brim. If you were going to get a current Open Road, I'd opt for the Royal Deluxe over the 6x, but that's just me. -
