    Not even close to the windiest, but I agree with your assessement, @Fanch! Felt like it do to the lake. It's hella cold there for sure. Dad lost his car for over three weeks in the 60's. Took us everywhere on a sled for those weeks until snow was cleared out. His car was buried in it!

    Lived on the South Side when my Pops was as U of C. on Blackstone Ave. Was the only white kid around, but didn't even know it until my Mom showed me pics years later. Loved it there as a kid!

    Stellar job, but part of me died inside as I have this natural hide thing going on in my head lately. It looks great both ways so if you are happy losing that awesome looking natural hide, then you done well! Took some sack though!

    Tom Cruise can be nutty, odd, etc. but I dig him. He's lived a fairly clean life for being one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. That's hard to pull off.

    Yeah, I'd say that's right. So, the first time I met him, it was for the movie "Far And Away" He was married to NK. She's closer to 6' and had nice heels on. I was just like Holy Hell! That's Maverick, and he's THAT short? Sure, my height didn't help, but you get the point...I wasn't ready...

    My guess: because we no longer buy in person. Tags are useless and many vendors don't offer accurate numbers etc. I'm pretty confident buying online now. I'm mostly settled, body wise. Used to try things on. How many do that now?

    Last few posts make me laugh. Think about it - what would a nOOb say coming in here and reading all the threads about leather jackets? Zippers? Pockets? Lining? Hides? You get my point. Once you enjoy something and get sucked in, the learnin' happens by itself!

    I finally am able to watch Seinfeld again. It's like 80's music - takes a good long time before it's appealing once more. I used to LOL and now I still do - that show nailed it. JS deserves every penny he earned (and still does) for that show (as do the rest). Even just thinking about it now...
