Haha yeah......
I guess I was just being overly paranoid about "changing" any characteristics of my glorious Vanson - now I know! That just makes the jacket even cooler.
I have some nice wide hangers I bought off of Amazon that fit nicely and are intended to keep the shape of (suit)...
Thanks man! Glad to see we share a passion for BMWs too. The 'ol M3 is a maintenance whore but I love it.

Exposed the 'ol Vanson to water last night for the first time....
It's been raining a ton here in SoCal lately and I've been avoiding wearing it outside when it's raining - I didn't want to lose the "fresh shine" quite yet - and/or experience shrinkage.
I called up Vanson and the guy...
I've purchased 5 or so pairs of Gustin jeans, 1 pair of chinos, 1 sweatshirt, 2 trucker jackets, a bunch of Ts, a bunch of slim and classic fit long sleeve shirts.......... and the sizing is just all wrong (for me).
My #1 favorite item from Gustin I've purchased is the natural veg tanned...
Watch update!
I'm pleased to say that only after ~ 1 week (with daily wear)... the left sleeve has enough give to now expose my watch if I stretch my arm out. About 2-3 inches "unzipped".. aka 2/3 zipped up.
Remove that from the negatives and I'm left with a plastic zipper end that actually...
Definitely a Connery fan! That is 1 of probably 15+ straps I have for the watch. I actually wear it most often on the SS bracelet; ~10 NATOs; black leather with white stitching and SS buckle, and a bunch of Horween leather NATOs I cut/stitched myself.
I like the sweet spot of $100-$600 watches...
Thanks, I have their OVM as well

I've heard decent things about the Parnis as well. I normally dislike large watches too - but for a pilot, it works well. I got 44mm and glad I did; the 46-47mm ones must be massive.
Particularly difficult when wearing my pilot watch... thing is very large though (44mm). Haven't really tossed this on much with the jacket, sticking to my diver for now.

Easily my biggest worry of the purchase since my Schott 654 was ~24.5" sleeve length and this was 26.25+" and Vanson themselves stated they often exceed this measurement to account for break in.
I should mention that the sleeves are almost fully zipped up/cinched in these pics; fully unzipped...
Oh, forgot to mention - big thanks to mendelboaz & 09alloy for giving me some info/input on owning the Model B and fit pics.
Made pulling the trigger a LOT easier.
A (non-photographer) friend took a few shots with my camera and pics didn't turn out as well as I'd hoped..... washed out from the sun - it was really sunny (& hot) today, had to chuck some shades so I wasn't squinting so badly. Not trying to just look cool.
Just powered through a few...
Well.....
I can't edit my original post (why? lol... only forum I've experienced this). But here's the post from the TB thread:
Massive thanks to Carrie (and Wade a bit) for all of the help - it's been 2-3 YEARS now for the endless search for my perfect cafe racer. I've purchased 'fashion...
Oofh, I've never worn any of my watches like that and I cringe when I see others doing so.
Do you recommend that purely because it's easier to read the watch when wearing the jacket? Or temporarily during the break in process?
Haha thanks
Yeah I'll re-post my review with pics here later today - like you said - the jacket deserves it. I'll bug a friend to shoot me today as well so I can get started with the fit pics.
I saw the House jacket; personally not for me, but pretty cool it's getting some recognition...
