    At $700-$800 new I’m tempted to just buy one. Vanson is out of stock in 40 & 42 unquilted (rayon) lining now though.

    That’d be awesome. I have a size 38 in Model B and that has the same 6.5” chest ease as the Model E according to Vanson themselves... so I’ll be a 40, 42 in this jacket for a comfortable fit. Did you order quilted or non-quilted lining?

    I think you misunderstood my point. Or I mis-phrased it. back/shoulder gussets = allow for MORE flexibility ... so the Board Racer in it's stock configuration, would potentially be less-mobile, since it does not have them.

    One thing to note, the Board Racer also does NOT have back/shoulder gussets, which would likely limit mobility, however I haven't owned or even tried on both of them... so just take that as a minor observation. Apparently, you can custom order the Board Racer with gussets.
