Last info I got from Aero that they currently only have Cherry and Black CXFQHH in lighter weight / thickness. And that it is not expected that any other colors will ever arrive in lighter weight/thickness, because the previous ones were errors/mistakes.
@Marc mndt
Never heard of this brand before, they have some really cool jackets on their website.
What is the pricing?
Can you give a quick overview about them?
Damn those look good @NCF . Good job with the dye as well. I'm thinking of doing the same to my Red Wing 9016 as the color is too light for my taste and a black overdye would turn them into a teacore which should fade lovely. Quick overview on how you dyed them?
Vanson Cafe Racer size L in France for 250eu. Looks to be in great shape.

46 Vanson vest in France for 100eu...
@Chilliwack
Front drop is how much longer the front of the jacket is than the back when laid flat. For example Hooch Hauler has no front drop and Aero refuse to add it. It's nice to have a rather short back (above back pockets) and a slightly longer front to cover up the belt while still...
Seems super sketchy yeah.
This also makes me realize that I have a lot to learn and understand until I come to I point where I think paying so much (relatively) for a jacket in such poor shape is reasonable.
I'd go Moonshiner over Maxwell because it has higher armholes, bi-swing back and trimmer body. But it seems like there will not be a next time to go nuts. Would need to wait for some 20% sale again for it to be worth it after the prices got jacket up.
Yup, last month was the best chance ever to get an Aero. I almost feel sorry that I didn't go nuts and order a Moonshiner together with the Hooch Hauler that I ordered. The rest of my life I will live wondering how the moonshiner would have turned out haha.
@geedee
I'd say it depends sooooo much on the camera and lighting. In his post I can see at least 3-4 shades, last one (outside, fit pic) being quite close to the one you just posted.
Also "I was told this first batch came in lighter (in thickness weight) and also the color is a bit different...
Maybe not the best idea to put your full address and full contact info with full name out there. But it's your choice.
Mentioning more important things like the leather used or lining or inside pocket configuration would be much more useful.
Curious about the replacement as well. Unless they do it for free I would not even contemplate sending back to Aero for another #5 zipper. Would definitely upgrade it to a #8 or #10 depending on the jacket size.
