Oh my..!:eek: What a way to destroy a beautiful Cal...o_O Who was the fool that installed these snaps when the jacket has alreay (hidden) snaps? This is one of the distinctive details of these jackets.

The main issue is the poor state of the collar area and lining. IDK if the hide would be restored with oil and conditioner.

This is my 3rd vtg Cal: made in 70s, mid-weight leather, Talon on main zipper and Serval on cuffs... and the most important thing: an AWESOME sensation wearing this beast. This is my 1st Cal. I own a 2nd Cal: unpadded, with belt loops and "kidney back", made in mid-70s, mid-weight leather. Aaaand there's another 3rd Cal that I'm about to receive. I'll show pics of these two other day.

Indeed. In BLUF scene you can see that almost everybody wears Langlitz, but I don't know why. Langlitz jackets are expensive, even the 2nd-hand ones! In 70s & 80s there were more brands and styles worn, but Langlitz jackets are the most nowadays.
