hate size inconsistencies
The tolerance may be even greater than that; I just recently received an old Knox homburg that was marked 7 1/4 but fits my father who wears 6 7/8. I couldn't even get it on my head. :( -

Just got this old Crofut & Knapp homburg this week. It's a little dirty and the sweatband is coming loose but, it's nothing I can't fix myself and I got it for a very reasonable price. Anyone have an idea on the age? -
