    I’m now back to buying Eastmans jackets at a rate of one every few years due to cost. It’s unlikely I’ll buy any more 5* Leather jackets but I have been tempted to try one of their nylon MA-1’s by way of forwarding one of my existing ones to base measurements on.

    One out of three worked for me: G-1 chest was 2” smaller across than specified & thus was too snug (sold that). Suede Trucker bled like a good one and went in the bin (got full refund). Deerskin Trucker went back once to ‘fix’ colour & is now one of my favourite jackets & is an exact leather...

    Sold something rather quicker for my Vespa 300..same amount of fun to be had but at lower speeds..less likely to run out of talent or get zapped by a speed gun. Did the same car wise too swapping a low weight high BHP number for a brick shaped turbo charged 900 cc jalopy that always puts a smile...

    Just to add that I wear Pike jeans over the Bowtex, have a couple of pairs of Sanders Brogue boots & am known to ride wearing Eastman’s A-2 jackets and my leather 5* Trucker Type 3 in urban environments. Currently looking at Roadskin products for the coming riding season…

    USAF N-3B parkas - Let's talk about them!!

    Actually getting to wear the DJ MAN N-3B with our current temperature drop..perfect as a throw over parka which keeps me toasty whilst walking the dog. Worth the £50 I dropped on it. Works well too whilst static E.G sat drinking coffee outside Costas because they won’t let me in with a Dawg :cool:

    Only trouble you are likely to attract is if you add leather pants or a patched up cut. I’ve been wearing leather jackets on two wheels since the 1980’s and over that time have briefly shared the same airspace as outlaw clubs with never an issue. Did get asked once if I was a stockbroker...
