    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Hi Marc, You're a champ and I applaud your diplomacy, you're definitely one of the good guys. Rather than rehash all the issues I rather just say the ball is in their court and I'll focus back on the objective which is to get for myself a decent travel jacket. Some investments don't pan out...

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Marc mndt, I'm not sure if you read what I said. I waited and waited to make a button jacket and Greg did not have one so instead of ordering from someone else I though I'll see when Greg was ready and I'll order. Only I never heard from him. I had to reach out and now it's seems that how he...

MrProper. I suppose that's true if my scale is 1/12 you'll be 1/10 lol! The more I think about it the more I'm leaning towards a jacket that is a good starter jacket that I could use for a lot of stuff, can get banged up and I won't feel too bad about and gives me time to really decide on what...

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

MrProper, If this was boxing I'll be in the Light-middleweight and you'll be in the super heavy weight class there no way we're similar in any way lol! I get your point about a fitting jacket cos all my suits are tailored and if they weren't they'll all fit badly. However, I'll stand by what...

Buddy you look quite a bit bigger than I and I'll add more macho lol. I'm not surprised it fits you well.

Exactly MrProper, So you know the pain, any boxy cut clothes even tees look odd on us. Sure there are a lot of better fitting designs like HB, cafe racers etc but cross zip moto jackets or those with bigger lapels are much harder to pull off.

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Thanks Will Zach, I beg to differ though. I can pull of the suit / tie or the casual military look quite well but when it comes to certain jackets, I either come off as a dad in kids clothing or a kid in dad's clothing or worst the coat swallows me whole and I look like a stickman wrapped in...

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Aloysius I never said I found the HB boring if you read the whole context of the plainsman / half-belt discussion it was about Greg getting into trouble by "plagiarizing" one of Aero's design directly. I just wanted a longer and slim version. Its also about Marc mndt saying why a plainsman...

Daniel Veit, I have no doubt about Greg skills but it's not just the finished product it's the journey, its been a 3 yr long journey and it's a big fat zero so far.

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Hi guys, Thanks for all the replies and I'll try and reply to them. Guppy If I'm going to get a jacket from Greg, I'll trust that he and Sam will know what they are doing not to get into trouble with Aero and also make it more interesting than the plain old half-belt or a plainsman ton312 You...

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Wow that's a ton of replies in a short time lol.. Thanks a bunch everyone. There are several issues about me chosing a leather jacket cos there's almost zero leather shops selling stuff from Aero or Schott etc, why? I'm in the tropics and you have to be a real odd ball to even try and wear...

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Hi Marc mndt, Fairly minor changes like a swap of a collar and a back yoke with a bit of an action back and some sizing mods as I'm slim and a lot of jackets balloon on me.

    Thedi, Aero, Field or?

Hi guys, I've trying to see which guys to go for as I'm looking for a slightly modified version of a Plainsman but I'm undecided on who to get it done by? Aero is the most affordable while Thedi is more expensive but they don't have a similar design like that and Fieldleather is somewhat new...

    FS Natural Aero Sheene 38

Hi Stitch, So sorry mate but I measured my arms and they are freakishly long. I'll need sleeves around 25, so 22.5" won't do. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    FS Natural Aero Sheene 38

Hi Stitched, I'm interested but I'm on the skinny side at just 180cm and 72-73 kg. I'm mostly worried about the circumference of the arms and the middle. I had a very nice half belt but it was too large in the middle for me. If you don't mind could you please measure the bicep area and the...

    Freewheelers Canyon Brown Brakeman

Hi JCSD, I've been looking for a nice travel leather jacket and this is one of the top of my list. The only issue is I'm on the skinny side at just 180cm and 72-73 kg. I'm mostly worried about the circumference of the arms and the shape as I read the brakeman is an A shape and I'm more a V as...
