I’m still not sure about this one if I’m honest … I really do love this jacket, but my first RMC has awakened a horrible Shinki beast in me that cannot be sated!
This is my sz44 Double Helix Deviant - just started to break in and develop arm rolls (but much more break in left to be done)...
Now uploaded pictures of the jacket - as you can see in as-new condition, with zero break in or arm rolls as yet - still box fresh shiny leather! This one isn’t tea core - it’s black dyed through so with aging the west will show as muting of the finish of the leather - there are photos of these...
Hi all,
I’ve decided that this particular jacket doesn’t work for me. I’ve worn it once around the time I got it last year, and since then it’s languished in the wardrobe.
It still needs breaking in - I think I might even have the hang tags somewhere!
Link to jacket - I’ll post photos of...
Thanks Andrew - the sizing on the commando is so strange - it’s much more of a pronounced V than most Vanson fits. The sweep looks to be just a bit less than my flat head delraiser (.5 of an inch maybe from measuring mine now) - and that’s on the edge of being too tight for me. A L in the...
Hey Andrew - really tough to gauge sizing on the Commandos - the PTP seems to suggest a 42 (or slim fit 44).
Do you know the sweep/waist width by any chance (presume both are the same in terms of sizing)?
Hey fellow loungers…
I recently pulled the trigger on the 2021 fit Buco J24 - I specifically wanted the slightly boxier fit through the body as a winter jacket for layering over thicker flannels etc.
But those sleeves man… while the boxier fit in the body is what I wanted the sleeves are...
Just to double down on what’s been said about Inis Meain - may not be super familiar to US based Loungers, but these are phenomenal woolen goods.
I’ve 6 of their wool jumpers and actually have this same pattern in a different colour. It is beyond soft and luxurious feeling and I live in it or...
For what it’s worth I have this model exact boot and they’re my daily driver. They’ve developed a fantastic patina over time and look way better than the photos would suggest. This toasted coconut looks quite even at first, but it wears in really well.
I wasn’t too impressed with mine straight...
No clue as to my brannock size (based in Ireland and we don’t really use the device here).
I’d say if you’ve a high arch best avoid Lofgrens - at least that’s my own experience.
I bought Zerrows engineers (from EastWest Apparel in Bristol) - a custom make up for the store in brown horse...
I’m wearing size 11D in grant stone Diesels right now - they fit tight at first (I’ve wide feet - should have gone with 11E) but stretched a bit and now fit perfectly - not sure if that gives context.
I’m 10.5 in Viberg 2030 last and 11D to 11.5D in Alden Barrie last (if that provides...
Where are you based (EU or overseas)? I’ve a pair of natty CXL engineers that have had circa 10 wears that I’ve replaced with a pair of Zerrows that fit me better. They’re size 11 too
