What Cap Are You Wearing Today?
They're a good option. I've misplaced the watchcap this morning and need to get on with some stuff, so I've thrown on a denim A3 (not quite as warm, but enough to keep the chill off the bald!). Got a smoking cap and a few fezzes that are also useful when there's company... ;) -

Picked this one up on a whim recently. Very basic knit watchcap of a type that's been around forever. Perfect for wearing round the house these colder days when I'm a bit too 'workwear' for the smoking cap. -

Agreed. I've seen one too many really nice, classic leather designs absolutely ruined when someone thought it was a good idea to lengthen them to work with the cut of modern trousers on which the "waistband" is four to six inches below the natural waist. As I understand it, a company set up for it can sell to an overseas customer VAT free (it probably makes a big difference that you ordered and paid from the US). In theory, you then pay the relevant tax when you arrive back in the US, though, eh..... sometimes the matter Does Not Arise when...- Edward

The coat and a new fedora in front of the Eiffel. And the suit under in the hotel room. Very pleased with this suit. Button placement needs a slight tweak for my barrel shape, but otherwise I like it a lot. Repro by Revival Vintage, their 'Socialite' brand. Will be looking into the brown version...- Edward
