He wears Borsalino felts on the show and sometimes a hat from John Penman. While it has a sixty’s look, I would think they are recent production.

    Free Lucchese Shantung 7 3/8

I bought this hat thinking it would be good for working around the house. It was listed as a 7 1/8 but it is more like a 7 3/8". I was going to replace the sweatband so removed the cloth strip that was being used as a sweatband. So right now it does not have a sweatband. Brim: 3 1/2" Crown: 4"...

    SOLD *** 1950s Royal Stetson - 7 1/4 Bluegrass

I’m between a 7 1/8 and 7 1/4. I tend to go with 7 1/8 because I like a tight feeling hat. It fits me well. I can take measurements if you want.

    Pass The Hat Please

I am determined to get my count down to 90. I have 3 display cases that hold 30 each. Right now I'm at 96 (39 straw and 57 felt). To start whittling down the numbers I'm giving this project hat away. The brim is just too wide for me at 3 1/2" all around. The crown is 4" all around. I have...

Acceptable time gain/loss for vintage timepiece.

Let me be a little more specific. Say a watch loses 2 minutes over a 24 hour period - I’d say it’s fine. But what if it loses 30 minutes over a 24 hour period? Is that still acceptable?

Straw hat - fedora style- recommendation?

This is a vintage Ecuadorian Supernatural Panama from the 50s. It has a nice tall crown and wide brim. I probably have 20 different pugs I wear with it. Patients and eBay! I actually have two. The other is a spare just in case.

Acceptable time gain/loss for vintage timepiece.

What is an acceptable amount of time loss or gain over a 24 hour period before getting a watch serviced?
