Wear what you plan on layering and measure from where the jacket hem will be and add a few inches. On my jackets, the waist is more narrow than the hem, as that mirrors the human anatomy of hips being wider than waist. Some short biker models actually taper all the way to the hem because they...
I went from a 40 PHYM to a 42 BR to gain some shoulder mobility, and so I could lightly layer under it. The BR is an inch bigger in the shoulders and chest than the PHYM which has made a world of difference in mobility. The only negative is that the jacket is a little big with just a t-shirt...
I asked for a front drop on my seven a few months back and was told that they won’t do it with this pattern. Might as well ask again as I know a few members on here were able to get the drop. I guess it depends on who cuts and patterns your jacket who decides.

You can use fiebing’s deglazer. I find it between isopropyl alcohol and acetone in effectiveness in removing shiny leather coatings. Supposed to be safe on leather.

Moleskin is my favorite lining if I’m wearing the jacket with t-shirts or thin long sleeve shirts. Very warm and durable and comfortable to wear. I never felt overheated while wearing this jacket up into the 50’s.
Exactly..if all the dimensions were 1/2” bigger, I think I would keep this jacket. You can especially tell in the back picture we’re the jacket is hugging my lats tightly giving me limited mobility when moving around. The sleeves and length also creep up while in motion leading to that one...
I was debating on between a seven and sheene for awhile and would have gotten the latter if I knew that I could the back to fit like yours. Unfortunately yours seemed to be the exception as most had the large shoulders.
You should be a consultant with aero to work in their pattern and CS...
