I'm don't consider myself to be a skinny man - I'm a 42in chest. But Lewis' jackets really do look much better on me in tight fit.
This jacket has a few quirks which I wanted to share and discuss with you.
First of all there are creases on the front of the jacket around the armpits which I...
In my opinion that is all of the character of a m/c jacket. So the bootlegger just has less character IMO. I've seen a cordovan j106 and it looks great.
I've actually just been thinking of sending a photo of the first jacket posted (navy and burgundy) and asking if Aero can make something like that up in a two-tone j106. They do both navy and red leather. Wouldn't cost me as much.
Just wondering if anybody has a m/c jacket by Aero in battered tan. By m/c I mean any of their m/c jackets, but preferably a double breasted one like j106 - if so please post a photo! :)
I've had one of these for years with a killer patina. Just like yours but with the black wearing away really nicely and each square of padding having its own worn story. However, I stopped wearing it because the leather was incredibly stiff and the lining gave me a rash(!). I don't know who...
I made the OP...
I'm asking which of the Irvin, the B3, and civilian jackets have straps around the wrists? I've never seen this on a flight jacket or a civilian jacket. Not sure where it comes from
I discovered this whilst passing their store. I was confused to see straps around the wrists. Is that a thing? Could buy a lot of Aeros with that price tag. Was not convinced.

I thought that predominantly middle aged premium leather jacket connoisseurs with lots of money wouldn't act like dicks. As a newcomer, I'm a little disappointed to see some bitchy discourse floating around. I wish everybody would just act in a manner befitting the jacket they are wearing.
With all the taxes and duties it's not economical to buy Addict, certainly. I saw them in Clutch cafe in London (near to the old LL store) and I just couldn't figure out why I would buy one for twice the price of a Lewis.
