Fit pic and questions - Lewis Leathers super monza tight fit

I'm don't consider myself to be a skinny man - I'm a 42in chest. But Lewis' jackets really do look much better on me in tight fit. This jacket has a few quirks which I wanted to share and discuss with you. First of all there are creases on the front of the jacket around the armpits which I...

I'd like to know how this jacket has aged.

Aero M/c Jackets in battered tan?

I wouldn't consider buying any leather jacket with a central zip.

Aero M/c Jackets in battered tan?

In my opinion that is all of the character of a m/c jacket. So the bootlegger just has less character IMO. I've seen a cordovan j106 and it looks great.

    Tenjin rocks!

I've actually just been thinking of sending a photo of the first jacket posted (navy and burgundy) and asking if Aero can make something like that up in a two-tone j106. They do both navy and red leather. Wouldn't cost me as much.

Aero M/c Jackets in battered tan?

Just wondering if anybody has a m/c jacket by Aero in battered tan. By m/c I mean any of their m/c jackets, but preferably a double breasted one like j106 - if so please post a photo! :)

    TT Leathers jacket resto

I've had one of these for years with a killer patina. Just like yours but with the black wearing away really nicely and each square of padding having its own worn story. However, I stopped wearing it because the leather was incredibly stiff and the lining gave me a rash(!). I don't know who...

    Cromford Leather Irvin.

I made the OP... I'm asking which of the Irvin, the B3, and civilian jackets have straps around the wrists? I've never seen this on a flight jacket or a civilian jacket. Not sure where it comes from

Which of them have straps around the wrists?

I still don't get the point in leather jackets pretending to be denim jackets.

    Cromford Leather Irvin.

I discovered this whilst passing their store. I was confused to see straps around the wrists. Is that a thing? Could buy a lot of Aeros with that price tag. Was not convinced. http://www.cromfordleather.co.uk/mens/douglas/

New Aero 50's Half Belt Deluxe (with pics)

I thought that predominantly middle aged premium leather jacket connoisseurs with lots of money wouldn't act like dicks. As a newcomer, I'm a little disappointed to see some bitchy discourse floating around. I wish everybody would just act in a manner befitting the jacket they are wearing.

Photos of cool jackets owned by others (non-brand specific)

Lotsa Japanese believe in the superiority of a British/American made leather jacket.

Nor does it make sense to sell them in the UK at twice the price of a Lewis!

With all the taxes and duties it's not economical to buy Addict, certainly. I saw them in Clutch cafe in London (near to the old LL store) and I just couldn't figure out why I would buy one for twice the price of a Lewis.

Even better. Lewis Leathers don't do either.

Yeah I'll shoot them an email. I wonder if they sell samples of their leathers... would be nice to see some in the flesh for reference.
