After a few hours of torrential rain, this morning dawned bright and sunny but a good 10° cooler, so I was finally able to wear an actual jacket for my walk in the woods today.
I picked this canvas mechanic's jacket from The Stronghold, which is a lovely fit albeit a little long over just a...
Everything is for everyday.
Of course you can wear workboots for work and they'll look like it, but if your work is just poncing about taking photos of your fades then you can wear them for that too.
Keep them clean if you want to. Or not, if you don't.
I like my things to look worn in, but...
Crazy again today. One week into October and no jacket necessary as it was 25° for my usual Saturday morning walk in the woods.
Even in just a t shirt I was sweating through. Although in fairness I have been really ill this week and had horrifying fever dreams the last couple of nights, so...
I'm not on Facebook so never see that sort of advertising. I just stumbled onto their website while I was looking for some 30s style aviator trousers (I watched The Rocketeer at the weekend) and Google threw them my way.
I could be tempted by several items if I could understand how much of a...
Oh that's true.
There's a ton of other interesting stuff on their site too though.
Really, I want someone to have ordered from them already so we can hear if the quality is worthwhile as @tmitchell59 says.
I only ever use my phone to look at the Lounge, as I don't even have a computer any more.
And I didn't even realise there were ads on the site as I've never seen one.
Has anyone heard of or ordered from Crush On Retro?

It's all the things we like, but all direct from China in the same way as I think Bronson is.
There are some of the usual Etsy-type items, but some other cool things too I think.
And it might be a way to be more...
You've reminded me that I've got some leather jeans hidden away. Navy blue cowhide ones, they came as a riding suit when I bought an old motorcycle jacket off eBay.
I've never worn them, although they seem to be just the right size. I'll take some pictures at done point, even though technically...
Ridic.
Out for my usual Saturday morning hike in the woods in a t shirt again. Almost the end of September and it was 19° and I was sweating like I had rabies.
No jacket required.
I think I'd better sell all my jackets on eBay before anybody realises it's never actually going to be cold ever...
I does keep you surprisingly warmer in fact.
I'll wear a thick hoodie when we go camping, and when it gets much colder in the tent in the evening, putting the hood up can make a big difference.
Looks great!
I love a heavy indigo jacket but I just can't get away with the type I or type II style. Those pleats betray me every time, as the snug fit I like always makes them bellow out and look bad on me.
Your pictures make me want to have another go, but I know I can't get away with it
